Wolf Creek Outfitters, Inc., WCO, offers private land elk hunts on numerous ranches in  Northern New Mexico. The areas available to hunt are vast, and offer a variety of opportunities for a successful hunting experience. Methods of hunt for elk vary according to our hunters’ capabilities. Horseback hunts are available. During rut, hunt via spot and stalk, with a guide calling the elk in. ATVs may be used to get you to a hunting area, and you may hunt from a tree-stand or blind. New Mexico Elk Hunt

New Mexico Application Deadline
WCO hunts on private land. Application is not required for Land Owner and Ranch Wide hunting tags.

Season Dates – Season dates vary depending upon the unit that will be hunted. Call for information and tag availability. 970-264-5332

Archery – (You choose any five consecutive days for your hunt.)
Muzzleload – (You choose any five consecutive days for your hunt.)
Rifle – (You choose any five consecutive days for your hunt.)
Note: Hunt dates are not reserved until deposit and signed contract are received.

License Fees

Contract, Deposit & Payment information
WCO requires all clients to enter a contract when reserving hunt dates. A 50% deposit is required. In the event a client does not draw their tag, we can occasionally adjust schedules to a date that will accommodate the purchase of an over the counter tag (OTC). In the event adjustments can not be made, your deposit will be refunded in full, with-in 15 days. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.  We accept check, cash, Visa or MasterCard.
